| dc.description.abstract | Επικοινωνία ορίζεται ως η διαδικασία αποστολής ενός μηνύματος από έναν πομπό σε ένα δέκτη, χρησιμοποιώντας έναν κοινό κώδικα επικοινωνίας. Στην εποχή μας που οι ρυθμοί της καθημερινότητας έχουν γίνει πολύ έντονοι, υπάρχει μεγάλη ανάγκη για άμεση επικοινωνία. Σκοπός της παρούσας πτυχιακής είναι η δημιουργία ενός μοντέλου επικοινωνίας που θα γεφυρώσει διαφορετικά πρότυπα με στόχο την διευκόλυνση τόσο του πομπού όσο και του δέκτη. Η πτυχιακή εργασία σχεδιάστηκε με βάση το παράδειγμα της μονόπλευρης επικοινωνίας μεταξύ καθηγητών και φοιτητών. Για τον πομπό (καθηγητής) επιλέχθηκε ένας τρόπος μετάδοσης που είναι καθολικά διαδεδομένος και ανά πάσα στιγμή εύκαιρος, η τεχνολογία Short Message Service ( σε συντομία SMS), η οποία επιτρέπει μέσω κινητού τηλεφώνου την αποστολή σύντομων γραπτών μηνυμάτων. Για τον δέκτη (φοιτητής) επιλέχθηκε το πρότυπο του Internet και των Social Media. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, ο δέκτης θα μπορεί να διαβάσει τα μηνύματα του πομπού από ειδικά διαμορφωμένο site αλλά και μέσα από την ευρέως διαδεδομένη σελίδα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, Facebook. Εδώ αυτόματα δημιουργείται το πρόβλημα της γεφύρωσης των διαφορετικών προτύπων. Το πρόβλημα αυτό θα το λύσουμε κάνοντας χρήση τελευταίων τεχνολογιών όπως, μεταξύ άλλων, της υπολογιστικής πλατφόρμας Arduino, ενός GSM Module, ενός Ethernet Module και με την των PHP και MySQL. Ο συνδυασμός και προγραμματισμός όλων αυτών θα αναλυθεί στα επόμενα κεφάλαια. | el |

| dc.description.abstracttranslated | Communication is called the procedure through which a transmitter sends a message to a receiver, using some common code for understanding each other. Nowadays that daily rhythm urges us to speed up everything we do, there is an always expanding need for instant communication. The goal of this final paper is to create a model of communication that connects different protocols for the accommodation of both the transmitter and the receiver. This final paper is designed based on the example of the one‐way communication between a teacher and his students. For the transmitter ( teacher ) we chose a way of transmission that is widespread and practically anytime available, the technology of Short Message Service ( or SMS ), that gives the ability of sending short messages using a mobile phone. For the receiver ( student ) we chose the Internet and furthermore the use of Social Media. More specifically, receiver will be able to read transmitter’s messages from a well‐formed website and through the widely used social networking page, Facebook. Here rises the obvious problem of bridging those different protocols. This problem will be solved using the all the latest technologies, including, among others, an Arduino board, a GSM Module, an Ethernet Module and the use of PHP and MySQL. The combination and programming of those will be reviewed extensively in the following chapters. | el |
