Employee motivation is a complicate subject. The essential need of implementing employee has been of concern for organizations because it has been proved that motivation is one of the deciding factors in work performance and for the success or failure of an organization. To enhance understanding of employee motivation managers must recognize the importance of employee motivation, its concepts and differences in individual needs.
Managers need to be aware employees’ motivational factors and the changes in priorities of these factors over the pass of time. Moreover, managers have to learn and understand theories behind motivation in order to be able to identify rewards systems that could be satisfy employee needs. Understanding employee’s motivation requires a systematic approach and organizations must understand that employee input is very essential, so it must be valued and embedded into the process.
