| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία ασχοληθήκαμε με το πρόγραμμα GNS3 για την προσομοίωση ενός δικτύου χρησιμοποιώντας στατική και δυναμική δρομολόγηση. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο της εργασίας, μελετήθηκε η βασική ιδέα του διαδικτύου, έπειτα αναλυθήκαν διάφοροι τύποι δικτύων αναλογικά με την γεωγραφική περιοχή εφαρμογής τους . Στο τέλος του πρώτου κεφαλαίου αναφέρθηκαν οι βασικές δικτυακές συσκευές και τις πιο γνωστές τοπολογίες(αρτηρία, βρόγχου, κλπ.).Το δεύτερο κεφάλαιο περιγραφή το βασικό μοντέλο του διαδικτύου συμφωνά με το μοντέλο OSI και το μοντέλο TCP/IP.
Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφηκε η έννοια του datacenter, τοπολογίες και οι δομές που χρησιμοποιούνται στα datacenters.Στο τελευταίο κεφάλαιο, αρχικά αναφέρθηκαν δυο προγράμματα που θα μπορούσαν να χρησιμοποιηθούν για την διεξαγωγή του πειραματικού μέρους(GNS3 και Packet Tracer) και για πιο λόγο έγινε η επιλογή του GNS3 για την εκπόνηση του πειραματικού μέρους, έπειτα γίνεται αναφορά στο δίκτυο που σχεδιάστηκε και μελετήθηκε. | el |

| dc.description.abstracttranslated | In the presented thesis we will be occupied with the program GNS3 for the simulation of a network using a dynamic and a static routing. In the first chapter of the thesis, will be presented the basic idea of the internet, after they are reported different types of network hardware (routers, bridge, etc.).The second chapter described the basic model of the internet of the OSI model and the TCP/IP.The third chapter reports the basic concept of datacenter, topologies and the structures of the datacenters.
In the last chapter, I am describing the two programs that could be used in the experimental model of the presented thesis. Furthermore I am explaining why I used the program GNS3 rather than Packet Tracer for the experimental part.
