| dc.description.abstract | Βασικός στόχος της μελέτης, ήταν η δημιουργία ενός σύγχρονου κτηριακού όγκου με αποτυπωμένες τις αρχές του ιστορικού αρχιτεκτονικού σχεδιασμού στις όψεις του, δεδομένου ότι το όλο κτήριο απαιτείται εκ της χρήσεως του να έχει σύγχρονη μορφή, διατηρώντας όμως τις ιστορικές μνήμες, σύμφωνα με τις απαιτήσεις της υπηρεσίας. Επιθυμία μας ήταν να δημιουργήσουμε ένα χώρο ο οποίος θα αναφέρεται σε πολλές διαφορετικές δραστηριότητες, ηλικίες και ανάγκες, χωροθετώντας τες έτσι ώστε να μην παρακωλύει η μια τη λειτουργία της άλλης, αλλά αντίθετα να τη συμπληρώνει και να εμπλουτίζει τη δράση της. Το τμήμα που θα περιλαμβάνει τις τρεις πρώτες λειτουργίες (βιβλιοθήκη- διοίκηση - αναψυκτήριο) θα καταλάβει την ενδιάμεση στάθμη του Α΄ ορόφου του κτηρίου ώστε οι λειτουργίες αυτές να εξυπηρετούν τον υποκείμενο και τον υπερκείμενο όροφο, το τμήμα που θα περιλαμβάνει τις δύο άλλες (τμήμα εικαστικών τεχνών - αίθουσα πολλαπλών χρήσεων) τη στάθμη του ισογείου και το τμήμα που θα περιλαμβάνει τις υπόλοιπες τρεις λειτουργίες (μουσική – χορό – αίθουσα διαλέξεων) τη Β΄ στάθμη του κτηρίου. Η επικοινωνία των επιπέδων γίνεται μέσω εσωτερικής κλίμακας και ανελκυστήρα. Παράλληλα υπάρχει η δυνατότητα επικοινωνίας μέσω υπηρεσιακού κλιμακοστασίου, στη δυτική πλευρά του κτηρίου και σε άμεση σχέση με τον εκθεσιακό χώρο. Σε όλα τα επίπεδα προβλέπονται οι απαραίτητοι χώροι υγιεινής. Η επικοινωνία των επιπέδων γίνεται μέσω εσωτερικής κλίμακας και ανελκυστήρα. Παράλληλα υπάρχει η δυνατότητα επικοινωνίας μέσω υπηρεσιακού κλιμακοστασίου, στη δυτική πλευρά του κτηρίου και σε άμεση σχέση με τον εκθεσιακό χώρο. Σε όλα τα επίπεδα προβλέπονται οι απαραίτητοι χώροι υγιεινής. Όλοι οι χώροι διαθέτουν τον απαιτούμενο αριθμό κλιμακοστασίων διαφυγής και τελικών εξόδων. Ο περιβάλλοντας χώρος του κτιριακού συγκροτήματος διαμορφώνεται ως ένας συνεχόμενος υπαίθριος χώρος που συνδέεται με τις σημαντικές περιβάλλουσες κινήσεις πεζών. Οι λειτουργικές ανάγκες καθώς και η κάλυψη των απαιτήσεων που αφορούν τον κτιριοδομικό κανονισμό, τον κανονισμό πυρασφάλειας και την προσπελασιμότητα του χώρου από Α.Μ.Ε.Α., καθόρισαν το μέγεθος των επεμβάσεων, τα υλικά που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν και την συνθετική επίλυση των χώρων. | el |

| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The main goal of this study , was the creation of a modern building in which is reflected the early history of architectural design on its sights, since the entire building is required to have a modern form by its own use, while maintaining its historical memories, according to the service requirements. Our desire was to create a place which refers to many different activities ages and needs, without causing any problem each aspect to the other, but helping them become whole, complete and more active. The section, which is going to include the first three functions (library-service - cafeteria), will occupy the intermediate level of the first floor of the building, so that these functions could serve the previous and the next floor. Furthermore, the section containing the other two functions (section visual arts - a multipurpose room), will be at the ground floor and, at last, the section containing the other three functions (music - dance - conference room) will be put at the second floor. The connection between levels will be occurred via the internal scale and lift. There is also the opportunity to be connected through a service staircase on the west side of the building and directly related to the exhibition room. At all levels are provided the necessary sanitary facilities. All rooms have the required number of escape staircases in case of emergency. The surrounding area of the complex is formed as a continuous open space, which is related with all the significant pedestrian actions. The functional needs as also the demands that are related with building code regulation, the fire protection and accessibility of the place to Disabled, set the size of the intervention, the materials used and complexity of all spaces in this building.
